To inform you about the recruitment of two Mandarin Chinese teachers for elementary and secondary schools in Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS), Maryland, USA.

Details:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Wen (6) Zi Di 1090029579A dated March 6, 2020.

2. The Ministry of Education and the Maryland State Department of Education have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to recruit qualified teachers from Taiwan to serve as teachers for immersion bilingual programs in the state's elementary and secondary schools. In 2020, the Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) in Maryland plans to recruit two Mandarin Chinese teachers.
The employment period will be from August 17, 2020, to June 30, 2022. The salary will be in accordance with the salary scale for formal teachers in the state and will be fully paid by the US side. Additionally, the Ministry of Education will subsidize airfare (up to $1,530 USD) and teaching materials and equipment fees ($300 USD).
3. Attached are the original letter and the Ministry of Education's Announcement No. 109017T for subsidizing and selecting Mandarin Chinese teachers to teach abroad.
