To inform you about the "Making Friends with AI" MOOCs course workshop organized by the Civil Service Development Institute of the Executive Yuan's Directorate-General of Personnel, civil servants are welcome to actively register and participate.

For your information, the Civil Service Development Institute of the Executive Yuan (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) is offering a "Making Friends with AI" MOOCs course. All civil servants are welcome to register.

Details:
1. In accordance with the Institute's official letter No. 1090800157 dated May 20, 109, a copy of the original letter (including attachments) is attached.

2. To promote core knowledge of artificial intelligence to all levels of government agencies and to build a foundation of AI concepts for colleagues, the Institute has partnered with MOOCs "Taiwan Open Education Platform" instructors to offer this online training course. The relevant information is as follows:
(1) Target Audience: Civil servants of central and local government agencies under the Executive Yuan.
(2) Course Period: From July 10, 109, to September 30, 109. Participants can arrange their own time to study online according to the course progress.
(3) Course Hours and Completion Requirements:
1. Course Hours: The course includes six modules (Introduction to AI, Background Knowledge, Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning) and a final exam. Each module is allocated 1 hour of study time (including reading video materials and completing assigned tasks).
2. Completion Requirements: Participants who complete 40% of the video materials, correctly complete 30% of the chapter exercises, and correctly complete 30% of the final assessment will pass if their total score reaches 70 points or more. Those who pass will be awarded 7 hours of lifelong learning credit for civil servants.
(4) Implementation Method:
1. After participants complete their registration, the Institute will review the applications according to the training process. Participants will then select courses online based on the notification from the Institute.
2. During the course period, participants can arrange their own study progress (including reading, exercises, and final exam).
3. Upon successful completion of the course requirements and evaluation by the instructor, participants will be awarded lifelong learning credit for civil servants.
4. During the training period, agencies may grant 7 hours of official leave to participants to facilitate their learning.
5. There is no need to replace or substitute participants for this course.

3. Registration: Registration is open from now until June 30, 109. Interested individuals can log in to the Institute's "Training Needs and Learning Services System" using their national identification card or personal account and password, and complete the online registration through the "Individual Registration" section in their personal portal.
