For your information, regarding the implementation methods of the National Academy of Governance (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) for its 2022 public servant book reading promotion activities.

Details:
1. In accordance with the Academy's official letter No. 1100800202 dated December 29, 2021, and with one copy of the original letter (including attachments) attached.

2. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Academy's reading promotion activities for 2022, including "Book of the Month" selection, national regional reading sessions, and book reading reflection essay writing and reading promotion competition, have been adjusted as follows:
(1) The 12 "Books of the Month" and 12 "Recommended Extended Readings" selected in 2021 will continue to be promoted in 2022.
(2) The "Outstanding Agencies in Book Reading Reflection Essay Writing and Reading Promotion Competition" for 2022 has been canceled. The "Book Reading Reflection Essay Writing Competition" for 2021 has been postponed to June 2022 for submissions.
(3) The preferential book purchase program for public servants in 2021 (71% discount) will be extended until December 31, 2022. Colleagues are welcome to visit the Academy's global information website (https://www.nacs.gov.tw), go to the convenient services section, click on "Download Zone," select the order form of any publisher, and contact them directly for ordering and payment. However, if the total purchase amount does not reach the specified amount (depending on the regulations of each vendor), shipping fees will be charged separately.

3. Regarding the book reading reflection essays for 2021, the Taoyuan City Government has completed the collection of submissions and selected the top 15 outstanding works. The list of authors for these works has been announced in the latest news section of the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Personnel website (https://personnel.tycg.gov.tw).
