For your information, regarding the "National Civil Servant and Family Long-Term Care Insurance" from 2022 to 2025, Cathay Life Insurance Company Limited was selected by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan through public bidding to continue providing the service. Details:
1. In accordance with the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan's (hereinafter referred to as DGPA) letter No. 1114000202 dated February 9, 2022, with attached copies of the original letter and its attachments.

2. The "National Civil Servant and Family Long-Term Care Insurance Program" from 2019 to 2022 was underwritten by Cathay Life Insurance Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as Cathay Life) until February 21, 2022. Following a new public bidding process by the DGPA, Cathay Life was re-selected to continue offering two plans: "Xin Shouxu Civil Servant Group Long-Term Care Health Insurance" and "Xin Shouxu Civil Servant Long-Term Care Lifetime Health Insurance." The service period will be from February 22, 2022, 00:00 to February 21, 2025, 24:00, for a duration of 3 years.

3. Relevant notes:
(1) This insurance program selects insurance companies that are legally registered and willing to offer preferential terms, and refers them to civil servants. The insurance benefit funds are to be raised by the underwriting insurance company. The insurance premiums for the insured are to be borne entirely by the policyholder. The DGPA and the Taoyuan City Government bear no responsibility for subsidies.
(2) In the event of any disputes arising from this insurance, the underwriting insurance company and the policyholder shall resolve them in accordance with the Civil Code, Insurance Act, and relevant laws and regulations. The DGPA and the Taoyuan City Government will not be involved in the resolution.
(3) Cathay Life will assess the insured's conditions and bear its own risk management responsibilities for this insurance. Therefore, the company has the final authority to approve or reject underwriting.
