Details:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Ren (II) Zi Di 1130034906B dated May 10, 113.

2. According to the Ministry of Education's order No. Tai Jiao Ren (II) Zi Di 1130034906A dated May 10, 113, the years of service of teachers in public schools who were previously employed as contract staff at Academia Sinica, with equivalent ranks, excellent performance, and similar nature of research work, shall be considered as years of service with equivalent ranks recognized by the Ministry of Education as stipulated in Article 9, Paragraph 1, Item 4 of the Teacher Salary Act, and may be used to determine salary grades on a yearly basis. The criteria for determining equivalent ranks, excellent performance, and similar nature of work are as follows:
(1) Equivalent ranks: Based on their monthly remuneration, converted into salary points for contract employees according to the salary point conversion rate for contract employees approved by the Executive Yuan in the year of employment, and then determined by the "Comparison Table for Years of Service with Equivalent Ranks for Various Personnel and Teachers."
(2) Excellent performance: As per Article 3, Paragraph 1, Item 13 of the "Regulations on the Calculation of Prior Service Years for Salary Grade Advancement for Teachers," a certificate of excellent performance must be submitted.
(3) Similar nature of work: In accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 1 of the "Regulations on the Calculation of Prior Service Years for Salary Grade Advancement for Teachers," the term "similar nature of work" refers to the original position being similar in nature to the subject to be taught, and the work experience being essential for teaching.
