For your information, regarding the recruitment of Indigenous Language Instructors for the 113th academic year in our city, please refer to the details below.

Details:
1. In accordance with the "Guidelines for the Establishment of Indigenous Language Instructors in Elementary and Junior High Schools."

2. The recruitment information for this case is as follows:
(1) Number of positions to be recruited: 2.
(2) Eligibility: Full-time teachers currently employed in elementary and junior high schools in our city, who meet one of the following criteria:
1. Possess intermediate-high or higher qualification in Hokkien, Hakka language proficiency certification, and have demonstrated performance in indigenous language teaching, research, etc.
2. Possess indigenous language proficiency qualification obtained before 102 (2013) or passed the intermediate-high or higher examination for indigenous languages after 103 (2014), and have demonstrated performance in indigenous language teaching, research, etc.
(3) The appointment method for Indigenous Language Instructors is as follows:
1. The principle is to handle this through loan arrangements.
2. Loan period: From August 1, 113 (2024) to July 31, 114 (2025).
3. The principle is to appoint for one academic year at a time. The Taoyuan City Government Department of Education may re-appoint the Indigenous Language Instructors based on their performance each year.
(4) Work items and benefits: To be handled in accordance with the "Guidelines for the Establishment of Indigenous Language Instructors in Elementary and Junior High Schools" (details in the attachment).
(5) When the Department selects principals and directors for schools, the years of service as an Indigenous Language Instructor may be counted towards the seniority points, comparable to the years of service as a director or team leader.

3. Application deadline: From now until July 12, 113 (2024) (Friday).

4. We welcome teachers interested in indigenous education to apply. Please fill out the "113th Academic Year Indigenous Language Instructor Basic Information Form" and send the electronic file to the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education (Elementary Education Section, Loaned Teacher Hsieh Cheng-yu; email: yu11229@ms.tyc.edu.tw). 5. Selected candidates will be notified for individual interviews. Please bring copies of your teacher's certificate, language proficiency certification, service school's appointment letter, and proof of indigenous language teaching experience to the interview for verification. The list of successful candidates will be announced on the "Latest News" section of the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education website before July 31, 113 (2024) (Wednesday).

6. Attached are the "Guidelines for the Establishment of Indigenous Language Instructors in Elementary and Junior High Schools" and the "113th Academic Year Indigenous Language Instructor Basic Information Form," one copy each.
