It will be held from May 17 to 30, 114 (Republic of China calendar) in six locations including Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Yilan County, and Hsinchu County/City. To encourage staff members to participate, the Taoyuan City Government, referencing the official leave plan proposed by the Taipei City Government, has developed a policy for granting official leave for participants as follows:
(1) Taoyuan City Government Employees: Official leave will be granted in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 8 of the Regulations Governing Leave for Civil Servants, which states "participating in various meetings or activities related to their duties, as invited by domestic or foreign organizations or groups... with the approval of their superiors."
(2) Taoyuan City Government Teachers: Official leave may be granted on the premise that teaching duties are managed independently or that classes are rescheduled and made up.
(3) Leave will be granted based on verification of relevant supporting documents for actual participation. No compensatory leave will be granted for participation on non-working days. However, each agency may establish its own review guidelines within its authority.
