To inform you about the results of the 9th Civil Service Badminton Championship of our city and the awards for outstanding participating teams and personnel.

Explanation:
I. The aforementioned competition was successfully held on August 2, 114 (2025) at the Fuyang Badminton Entertainment Flagship Hall, with a total of 117 participating teams and approximately 1,500 participants. This year's event, as in previous years, was divided into 8 categories: Civil Servants Men's Group A, B, and C; Civil Servants Women's Group A, B, and C; and Teachers and Staff Men's and Women's Groups. A copy of the competition results for each group is attached.

II. According to the regulations of the 9th Civil Service Badminton Championship of our city, the principles for awarding outstanding participating teams are as follows:
(I) For the first-place teams in each Civil Servant group, the captain and team members shall each receive a commendation. Additionally, two individuals from the team's leader, coach, manager, or those who actually participated in the team's training and management shall each receive a commendation.
(II) For the first-place teams in the Teachers and Staff Men's and Women's groups, the captain and team members shall each receive a commendation. The captains and team members of the second and third-place teams shall be awarded a certificate of merit. Additionally, two individuals from the team's leader, coach, manager, or those who actually participated in the team's training and management shall be awarded based on their respective rankings or receive a certificate of merit.

III. Furthermore, according to Article 4 of the "Key Points for Handling Disciplinary Cases of Civil Servants in the Taoyuan City Government and its Affiliated Agencies and Schools," disciplinary cases for routine matters are authorized for approval and issuance by subordinate agencies. Specifically, commendation cases of the second-level agencies that do not exceed a merit citation can be handled by their supervising first-level agencies. Commendation cases for the heads of first-level agencies and district chiefs shall be reported to the city government for approval. In addition, according to Article 4 of the "Key Points for Commendation and Discipline of Teachers and Staff in Municipal Schools and Kindergartens of Taoyuan City," commendation cases for school teachers and staff that do not exceed two merit citations are authorized for schools to handle themselves. Commendation cases for principals shall be reported to the Bureau of Education for approval.

IV. Regarding the awards for outstanding participating teams and personnel in this year's competition, for Civil Servants of the Taoyuan City Government, please have the responsible authorities handle the commendations according to the aforementioned award standards and relevant regulations (recommended). For school teachers and staff, please have the organizing district offices compile a list of personnel to be commended and submit it to their respective service schools or the Bureau of Education for commendation or issuance of certificates of merit. For those not belonging to agencies (schools) affiliated with the Taoyuan City Government, please refer to the aforementioned award principles and handle the awards according to your authority.
