Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Labor's letter No. 1090510880 dated June 24, 109.
2. This year (109) marks the 50th National Skills Competition. The Ministry of Labor has organized the 2020 National Skills Week event from September 18 to September 20, 109, at the Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2. In addition to the skills competition featuring 52 categories for youth and 13 categories for teenagers, totaling 65 categories, there will also be diverse themes such as a theme pavilion, vocational training exhibition area, maker exhibition area, and career development area. These will allow young students to experience smart living and explore the workplace through DIY workshops, vocational aptitude tests, career matching games, "winning makeup for job interviews," AR and VR, and other methods (see attached for an introduction).
3. To encourage young people and teenagers to understand vocational skills, experience the joy of skill learning, and thus participate in skill learning, outdoor educational tours are planned in advance during the National Competition event period. Teachers and students are invited to visit together, with the aim of strengthening skills education, enhancing learning awareness, and disseminating the concept of skills, so that skills can take root from a young age.
4. You are welcome to visit the Ministry of Labor's Workforce Development Agency National Competition event website to browse competition-related information (https://2020skillsweek.wda.gov.tw/tw/index.php). Registration for visits will be open from August 3rd on the website, and guided tours will be arranged at that time.
