| II. | The details of the event are as follows: |
| (1) | This project will hold 2 sessions, with the following schedule: |
| 1. | The first session will be held from October 17, 2020, to November 21, 2020. A certificate of completion will be awarded to those who participate in the entire course. |
| 2. | The second session is scheduled to be held from February to June 2021 (the actual date will be announced separately). |
| (2) | Location: Wuling Senior High School, Taoyuan City. |
| (3) | Eligibility and number of participants: |
| 1. | Eligibility: 8th-grade students in this city who have passed the gifted or creative ability assessment in English. |
| 2. | Number of participants and selection criteria: |
| (1) | A total of 36 students will be admitted to the first session. If the number of applicants is too large, selection will be based on the order of preference recommended by the school, students' academic performance, or relevant competition performance. |
| (2) | A total of 36 students are expected to be admitted to the second session (subject to the announced implementation plan for the second session). |
| (4) | Required documents for registration: |
| 1. | A photocopy of the gifted assessment passing certificate (or relevant documents on the special education information network that can prove the student is gifted in this city). |
| 2. | Photocopies of the first and second semester report cards for 7th grade. |
| 3. | English language competition performance at the county level or above during 5th and 6th grade of elementary school or junior high school (optional). |
| (6) | Activity Fee: The course is free of charge, but transportation and meal expenses are to be borne by the participants. |
| 2. | Announcement of admitted students: The list will be announced at 4:00 PM on October 8, 2020, on the latest news section of the Wuling High School website, and simultaneously on the Taoyuan City Gifted Education Resource Center website (http://trcge.csps.tyc.edu.tw/web/index.aspx). No further notification will be given. |
| III. | Attached is one copy of the aforementioned implementation plan (including the registration form). For details, please refer to the attachment or contact the Taoyuan City High School Gifted Education Resource Center (Wuling High School) at (03)369-8170 ext. 153. |
