National Taiwan College of Performing Arts is holding independent admissions, transfer examinations, and joint admissions for junior high schools, elementary schools, and vocational high schools for the 110 academic year.

Subject: Forwarding the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts' announcement regarding the independent admissions, transfer examinations, and joint admissions for the 110 academic year for elementary, junior high, and vocational high school levels.
Details:  
1. In accordance with the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts' letter dated January 21, 110, with reference number 1105000195.
2. The National Taiwan College of Performing Arts is the premier institution in the nation for nurturing traditional performing arts and modern theater arts. Students admitted to vocational high school (and below) receive public funding.
3. The admission types and departments are as follows:
(1) Independent admissions and transfer examinations for the Elementary School Department: Peking Opera Department, Folk Arts Department, recruiting students from 5th grade and above.
(2) Independent admissions and transfer examinations for the Junior High School Department: Peking Opera Department, Folk Arts Department, Traditional Music Department, Taiwanese Opera Department, Hakka Opera Department, recruiting students from 1st grade of junior high and above.
(3) Independent admissions and transfer for the Vocational High School Department: Peking Opera Department, Folk Arts Department, Traditional Music Department, Taiwanese Opera Department, Hakka Opera Department, recruiting only 1st-year vocational high school students.
(4) Joint admissions for the Vocational High School Department: Theater Arts Department, recruiting through the Taipei-Keelung area's 'Talent Excellence Review' and 'Exemption from Entrance Examination' channels. Please refer to the admission brochures for these channels for details.
4. Important dates are as follows:
(1) Application period: March 1, 110 (Monday) to June 28, 110 (Monday).
(2) Examination date: July 10, 110 (Saturday).
5. Related subsidies:
(1) Elementary and Junior High School Departments:
1. For students with low-income household status, the application fee is waived. Additionally, the China Taxation, Finance and Education Foundation provides further subsidies for application, transportation, accommodation, and meals, as well as subsidies for accommodation and living expenses after enrollment (see Attachment 1).
2. For students with middle-low income household status, a 50% discount on the application fee is provided.
(2) Vocational High School Department:
1. For students with low-income household status, the application fee is waived.
2. For students with middle-low income household status, a 50% discount on the application fee is provided.
