| I. | This is handled in accordance with the resolutions of the 1st meeting of the 112 academic year gifted student identification committee for junior high schools in our city. |
| II. | The important information regarding the aforementioned identification is as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | Sixth-grade students in public or private elementary schools in the 111 academic year who are enrolled or have household registration in Taoyuan City. |
| 2. | For those applying for identification as academically gifted students (English or Math & Natural Sciences): |
| (1) | Possess gifted traits in academic aptitude and demonstrate outstanding performance in their specialized subjects. |
| (2) | Only one category can be selected for application and registration for the Math & Natural Sciences gifted category. |
| 3. | For those applying for identification as creatively gifted students: Possess gifted traits in creativity (e.g., sensitivity, fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, curiosity, risk-taking, etc.), as observed by experts, teachers, or parents (observation period of at least one semester), or through self-recommendation. |
| (2) | Registration Period (Late submissions will not be accepted): |
| 1. | Preliminary Selection: From 8:00 AM on February 6, 112 (Monday) to 12:00 PM on February 15, 112 (Wednesday). |
| 2. | Final Selection: From 5:00 PM on April 7, 112 (Friday) to 12:00 PM on April 13, 112 (Thursday). |
| (3) | Registration Method: All registrations must be completed online. Registration website: https://www.giftedness.tyc.edu.tw. |
| (4) | Identification Dates: |
| 1. | Math & Natural Sciences Gifted Identification: Preliminary Selection on March 11, 112 (Saturday), Final Selection on April 29, 112 (Saturday). |
| 2. | English Gifted Identification: Preliminary Selection on March 12, 112 (Sunday), Final Selection on April 30, 112 (Sunday). |
| 3. | Creative Ability Gifted Identification: Preliminary Selection on March 18, 112 (Saturday), Final Selection on May 6, 112 (Saturday). |
