I. The purpose of this event is to promote the municipal environmental education facilities and venues (Laojie Creek River Education Center), enrich the environmental experience and learning of teachers and students through courses and activities, and cultivate a sense of love for the hometown and land.
II. The main points of this plan are summarized as follows (refer to the implementation plan for details):
(I) Schedule: March to November 2019.
(II) Venue: Laojie Creek River Education Center.
(III) Activity time and sessions: One session in the morning and one session in the afternoon every Tuesday to Friday from March to November 2019, with at least 70 sessions.
(IV) Participants: Schools of all levels in this city, with the following order of admission:
1. Schools that have not previously participated in the "Promotion of Off-Campus Field Trips to Municipal Environmental Education Facilities and Venues."
2. Other interested schools.
(V) Activity content: This plan includes a 2.5-hour environmental education themed course and activities based on environmental characteristics. Course details are attached.
(VI) Subsidy principles:
1. A subsidy of NT$7,000 per school per session (including transportation and insurance of NT$5,000 and meal expenses of NT$2,000). However, schools adjacent to the River Education Center (Xinrong Elementary School, Xinshi Elementary School, Zhongli Elementary School, Zhongli Junior High School) can only apply for meal expenses of NT$2,000.
2. Each school can apply for a maximum of two sessions. If the 70 sessions are not filled by the end of April, the limit of two sessions per school will be lifted, and schools will be allowed to apply for more.
(VII) Application method: Please register before March 22, 2019 (Friday) at the registration website: [https://pse.is/DJXMZ]. After filling out and stamping the attached application form, please fax or email it to Ms. Lin Wei-chi at the Laojie Creek River Education Center (Tel: 03-4221469, Fax: 03-4223787, E-Mail: rectyc@gmail.com). The admitted sessions for each school will be notified separately by letter.
(VIII) Expense reimbursement:
1. The applying school shall submit a unified receipt (payer: Xinrong Elementary School, Pingzhen District, Taoyuan City) to Director Weng of the Academic Affairs Office of Xinrong Elementary School within 2 weeks after the admission announcement.
2. Within 2 weeks after the activity, submit the student attendance sheet, teacher feedback form, student questionnaire, activity achievement photos, and original vouchers to Director Weng of the Academic Affairs Office of Xinrong Elementary School for processing (each school should keep a copy for reimbursement).
