Description:
I. In accordance with the "Implementation Plan for the Summer Camp for Matsu-descendant Students in Indigenous Areas of this City in 2019".
II. To enable Matsu-descendant students in indigenous areas of this city to engage in mother tongue learning and cultural experience sharing, Dacheng Elementary School has been commissioned to plan and organize a summer camp. The camp will focus on immersive mother tongue teaching and field trips to experience Matsu culture, with interactive exchanges with primary and secondary schools in Lienchiang County.
III. The summary of the aforementioned plan is as follows:
(I) Target Participants: Primarily Matsu-descendant students (defined as having one parent of Matsu origin) currently enrolled in the 4th to 6th grades of elementary school and the 7th and 8th grades of junior high school in this city. The expected number of participants is 24 students, with voluntary registration. Priority will be given to those who have not participated in the Matsu camp organized by this bureau in the winter of 2016 or the summer of 2017.
(II) Activity Locations: Nangan Township and Beigan Township, Matsu.
(III) Activity Time: From June 24, 2019 (Monday) to June 27, 2019 (Thursday), a total of 4 days and 3 nights.
(IV) Registration Method:
1. Online Registration: From now until 4:00 PM on June 6, 2019 (Friday), please log in to the online registration website for the "2019 Summer Camp for Matsu-descendant Students in Indigenous Areas of Taoyuan City" to enter basic information (URL:
