Inform you that the Hakka Affairs Council is organizing the "2019 Hakka Choral Competition" educational promotion activity. Please participate enthusiastically.

Description:
1. In accordance with the letter of the Hakka Affairs Council dated July 19, 2019, Ref. No. KCH-1086101145 (see Attachment 1).
2. The aforementioned educational promotion activities will be held from Friday, August 9, 2019, to Saturday, October 19, 2019, in Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, Kaohsiung, and other locations. These will include 2 traditional folk song workshops, 3 choir workshops, 2 a cappella workshops, and 1 a cappella teacher training camp (see Attachment 2). Teachers and choir conductors from all schools are welcome to participate.
3. Please inform your subordinates to jointly promote and encourage enthusiastic participation. Personnel attending the workshops will be granted official leave. For colleagues in various agencies who wish to participate in the workshops or the a cappella teacher training camp, 2 hours of lifelong learning hours for public servants will be granted for each workshop, and 12 hours for the training camp.
4. Additionally, the Hakka Affairs Council is organizing the "2019 Hakka Choir Competition." The competition is scheduled to be held on December 7 and 8, 2019, at the Performing Arts Hall of the Hsinchu County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau. The competition categories include choir (children and youth group, adolescent group, adult group, and golden age group), traditional folk song, and modern a cappella, totaling 3 categories and 6 groups. Registration is open from now until September 30, 2019. Please encourage your affiliated (supervised) choirs to participate enthusiastically.
