Dear Parents,

This summer, our school has established sister school agreements with Kamimakicho Junior High School and Kamimakicho Second Junior High School in Nara, Japan. We have also received a letter from the Kamimakicho Board of Education expressing their anticipation for our school and the Japanese schools to jointly establish an English distance learning program.

Our school is also planning12international exchange activities in December, aiming to cultivate first-year junior high students as international exchange ambassadors, who will later participate in international hosting and English distance learning.

"Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles." Learning through practice, understanding through experience, and verifying the knowledge we gain from books through practice. We hope that the seeds we sow today will grow and flourish in fertile soil.

I. Japan International Education Trip:

（一）Activity Dates: Scheduled for108year12month8to13day(six days and five nights).

 (II)Exchange Location and Schools: Primarily the Kansai region of Japan, with visits and exchanges at 2 junior high schools in areas such as Nara and Osaka.2junior high schools for visits and exchanges.

II. Pre-trip Course Planning and Visit Schedule:

Course Times: Weekdays16:50~17:40or Saturdays09:00~12:00(Students will be notified of class times based on actual scheduling)

Course Content

1.Japanese Language Learning Course16sessions:: To enable children to learn50sounds, basic Japanese travel phrases, andhomestaydialogue for use with host families, with the main goal of practical communication. Instructors: Japanese language specialists will be hired to teach.

2.English Language Learning Course8sessions:: Daily life English conversation will be the main focus of the lessons. Instructors: English-proficient teachers from our school will be hired to teach.

2.Cultural Experience and Visit Courses16sessions: Photography class2sessions, Japanese history2sessions, Geography2sessions, Business card design

      course2sessions, and dynamic activity courses8sessions.

3.Reflection and Sharing Sessions6sessions: After returning, video production4sessions and reflection sharing2sessions will be offered.

4.Course Fees: In accordance with the "Taoyuan City Elementary and Junior High School Club Activity Implementation Guidelines," each student will be charged1200NT dollars.

III. Estimated Costs for the Japan International Education Trip: Approximately42,000NT dollars((Actual costs will be based onpublic bidding results).Payment can be made

    either in one lump sum or in two installments (the two payment dates will be10/8and11/8).

IV. Registration Method: Please have parents fill out the reply slip and submit it by noon on9month12day, along with the deposit of5000NT dollars and the course fee of1200NT dollars, to the Disciplinary Section of the Student Affairs Office, to Section Chief Ke, to facilitate the subsequent bidding process.
