To inform you that the Performing Arts Hall of the Cultural Affairs Bureau is organizing the "Violin Recital by Augustin Dumay, Soloist of the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation." To benefit students, a discounted student ticket price of NT$300 is offered. Please inform and encourage students to purchase tickets and participate.

Description:
I. The event will be held on January 4, 2020 (Saturday) at 7:30 PM in the bureau's performance hall. To enhance students' appreciation of the arts, student tickets are specially priced at NT$300. Students can present their student IDs to purchase tickets at the National Theater and Concert Hall ticketing outlets.
II. Violinist: Albert Manze has performed with Anne-Sophie Mutter at the Berlin Philharmonie, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, Théâtre de Provence, Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, and Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, on tours in Canada and Europe. Albert Manze currently plays a Stradivarius violin.
III. Piano Accompaniment: Han-Wen Yu (Taiwanese-German pianist), the first Luceat Lux Award recipient to graduate from the Department of Music at Tunghai University, winner of the Polish National Chopin Competition for Chamber Music and recipient of the Best Accompanist award at the Annesco Competition.
