Academic Affairs Office Announcement

Inform the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration, commissioned by the Xingling Medical Foundation, to organize the "AIDS Prevention Education Teacher Professional Development Workshop" implementation plan.

I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Secondary and Preschool Education's letter No. 1090061528 dated June 3, 2020.
II. In response to the epidemic, this bureau previously notified the postponement of the aforementioned seminar by letter No. 1090011529 dated February 12, 2020. Due to the easing of the epidemic, after evaluation, various activities will continue to be held from July onwards.
III. Key points of the activity are summarized as follows:
(I) Participants:
1. Schools of excellence (including AIDS prevention) and seed schools in the four key counties and cities of this project this year (Miaoli County, Nantou County, Taitung County, Kinmen County) must send 1-2 teachers who teach health education to participate.
2. Teachers who teach health education related subjects in schools below the senior high school level.
3. All other teachers of any subject who are interested in the theme of this seminar.
4. School volunteers and parents of the sex education (including AIDS prevention) school clusters in the key counties and cities.
(II) Time and location of the Northern District session: July 17, 2020 (Friday), Songbai Hall, CTBC Business Center, New Taipei City.
III. This seminar will award 6 hours of in-service training for teachers on the "National Teacher In-service Training Network." Please encourage teachers to participate enthusiastically.

V. The epidemic prevention precautions for this seminar are as follows:
(I) Individuals who are under home quarantine, home isolation, self-health management, or have respiratory tract infection symptoms (including fever or cough) should not attend.
(II) During the activity, please maintain social distancing or wear a mask, and comply with the latest regulations announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center.
