| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration's letter No. 1120075838 dated June 19, 112. |
| II. | The National Teachers' Union, in order to promote the revival of domestic coarse grains and the understanding of local agricultural culture, and to focus on food self-sufficiency issues, has been committed to promoting "Near the Soil, Close to the Farm" related activities since 2011, laying the foundation for food and agriculture education. |
| III. | To widely invite more teachers to integrate the "Food and Agriculture Classroom" into their curriculum and teaching, the Union specially provides "Teaching Seed Boxes" (application methods are attached). The box contains six types of coarse grain seeds, teaching handbooks, and other resources for teachers to practice and innovate in their food and agriculture courses. |
| IV. | To enable participating teachers to better understand the meaning of "Near the Soil, Close to the Farm" and how to conduct "Food and Agriculture Classroom" teaching, the National and Preschool Education Administration will continue to cooperate with the Union in organizing teacher training courses in the 112 academic year. Experienced teachers and farmers who have implemented courses will be widely invited to share their experiences. Information on each session will be announced in the "Food and Agriculture Classroom" section of the National Teachers' Union website. |
