| 1. | In accordance with the "2024 New Taipei City Student Film Awards" letter from the New Taipei City Government Department of Cultural Affairs dated March 25, 113 (2024), Ref: Xinbei Wenhua Fa Zi No. 1130562019. |
| 2. | To cultivate the art of filmmaking, the New Taipei City Government continues to organize the "2024 New Taipei City Student Film Awards" this year (113/2024) to encourage young students in filmmaking and nurture future talent. |
| 3. | The main rules of this competition are: |
| (1) | Eligibility: Currently enrolled students in universities, colleges, vocational high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools in Taiwan, as approved and established by the Ministry of Education. Students must be enrolled at the time their film is completed. |
| (2) | Categories: The competition is divided into the General Group and the Seedling Star Group, with submissions judged in four categories: "Narrative," "Documentary," "Animation," and "Experimental." The submission period and relevant regulations are as follows: |
| (3) | General Group (Universities and Colleges) and Seedling Star Group (Vocational High Schools): |
| 1. | Submission Period: From now until July 19, 113 (2024), 23:59. |
| 2. | Film Specifications: Films must be completed on or after June 30, 112 (2023). The length of each film type should not exceed 60 minutes. |
| (4) | Seedling Star Group (Junior High and Elementary Schools): |
| 1. | Submission Period: From now until May 17, 113 (2024), 23:59. Only the production plan needs to be submitted. |
| 2. | Production Plan Specifications: The plan should be for a film completed on or after June 30, 112 (2023). Upon winning, the participating team will produce the film according to the plan and submit it by September 2, 113 (2024). The length of each film type should not exceed 20 minutes. |
| (5) | Total prize money is NT$1,570,000, with a total of 25 awards, including the "Super Seedling Award" for one winner, receiving NT$400,000. |
| (6) | To encourage students from vocational high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools to engage in filmmaking, the "Seedling Star Award - Vocational High School" and "Seedling Star Award - Junior High and Elementary School" are established, each with a prize of NT$30,000. Eligibility: Currently enrolled students in universities, colleges, vocational high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools in Taiwan, as approved and established by the Ministry of Education. Students must be enrolled at the time their film is completed. |
| 4. | Attached are the "2024 New Taipei City Student Film Awards" submission guidelines and a promotional poster, one copy each. |
