| Subject: | Regarding the "113 Academic Year Elementary and Secondary School International Education Capacity Building Program Recommended Lecturer Implementation Plan" commissioned by the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the Department) to National Chung Cheng University, we kindly request your school to actively recommend principals or teachers with over 3 years of practical experience in promoting international education to participate in the training for common and specialized courses. Please be informed. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the Department's letter dated April 26, 113, No. 1135700941. |
| II. | The purpose of this program is to cultivate lecturers for international education capacity building courses, establish a lecturer database, and serve as a resource for local capacity building workshops. This will provide guidance to elementary and secondary schools in promoting international education programs, enhance effectiveness, and reduce operational costs. |
| III. | Courses for Recommended Lecturers: |
| (I) | Common Courses: |
| 1. | Knowledge: Macro Trends and International Education (preferably for teachers with a professional background in this course). |
| 2. | Philosophy and Policy: International Education Philosophy and Policy (preferably for teachers with a professional background in this course). |
| 3. | Practical Skills: |
| (1) | Curriculum Development and Teaching. |
| (2) | International Exchange. |
| (3) | School Internationalization. |
| (II) | Specialized Courses: |
| 1. | Registration and Practical Application of International Online Exchange Platforms. |
| 2. | Cross-cultural Communication Teaching Design and Practice. |
| 3. | Current Political, Economic, Cultural, and Educational Development in New Southbound Countries. |
| 4. | Development and Practice of Local-Based International Education Thematic Courses. |
| (III) | Number of Recommendations: |
| 1. | Each recommending unit should recommend a maximum of 3 individuals per course as a general principle. |
| 2. | Each recommended individual should participate in training for a maximum of 2 courses as a general principle. |
| 3. | If there are no qualified candidates, no recommendation is necessary. |
| (IV) | Recommendation Method: After the recommended candidates from each school are compiled and recommended by this bureau, National Chung Cheng University will convene an review committee meeting to assess the suitability of the recommended individuals' academic and professional qualifications. |
| IV. | Attached are the implementation plan and application form, one copy each. Please complete and submit the recommended lecturer application form (review comments and reviewing unit do not need to be filled in) and the master list in Word format and scanned copy via email to 10029839@ms.tyc.edu.tw by 5:00 PM on May 10, 113 (Friday), so that this bureau can compile the information. |
