To reiterate the promotion of animal protection education, please actively utilize the teaching materials and lesson plans for "Animal Protection Education - Companion Animals" compiled by National Taichung University of Education, commissioned by the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration, to integrate into your curriculum. This will foster students' concepts of "cherishing animals and respecting life," and teach them the correct ideas for treating animals kindly.

| I. | In accordance with Article 4-1 of the Animal Protection Act, governments at all levels shall popularize education and learning related to animal ethics and animal protection laws and regulations to enhance the public's knowledge of animal protection and implement it in the 12-year basic education curriculum. |
| II. | To implement the Animal Protection Act and promote the spirit of caring for animals and respecting life, in order to cultivate students' responsibility and friendly attitude towards raising animals, the National and Preschool Education Administration of the Ministry of Education has announced the aforementioned teaching materials on the Administration's website.
