| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Government Health Bureau, dated September 10, 113 (2024), with reference number 1130087061. |
| II. | Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in Taoyuan City. Low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) screening is currently the only internationally proven tool for early detection of lung cancer. Since March 1, 112 (2023), our city has collaborated with 17 hospitals to promote the aforementioned plan, subsidizing LDCT lung cancer screening for high-risk individuals aged 40 and above who are registered residents of Taoyuan City and fall into one of the four major risk categories: 'tobacco exposure,' 'relevant medical history and family history,' 'occupational exposure,' and 'air pollution and cooking fumes.' This initiative aims to achieve early detection and treatment, thereby reducing lung cancer mortality. |
| III. | To encourage eligible individuals to participate in screening, the City Government Health Bureau has produced related promotional materials. We kindly request your school to assist in posting and disseminating these materials.
