Inform you that National Taiwan Ocean University is offering an online MOOC course on "Offshore Wind Foundation Design", which will be recognized for 8 hours of study on the "Environmental Education Lifelong Learning Network" and 8 hours on the "National Teacher In-service Training Information Network" respectively.

| I. | In accordance with the letter from National Taiwan Ocean University dated February 19, 114 (2025), No. Hai Jiao Zhong Zi Di 1140003268. |
| II. | To promote green energy development and respond to the global energy transition trend, the university has launched an online course on "Offshore Wind Foundation Design." The aim is to enhance participants' understanding of offshore wind power fundamentals, thereby supporting the promotion of environmental sustainability and green energy education. |
| III. | Course Information: |
| (1) | Instructors: Professor Anni Kuo from National Taiwan University and Professor Bai-Chen Guan from our university. |
| (2) | Course Content: The course covers offshore wind power basic theory, seabed soil characteristics, fixed and floating foundation design, as well as offshore wind turbine geotechnical engineering and structural related issues. |
| (3) | The course is completely free and open to all participants. |

| IV. | Method of Issuing Training Hours: |
| (1) | "National In-service Teacher Training Information Network": For those who meet the course passing standard (60 points), the "Ministry of Education MOOCs Platform (eduMOOCs+)" will automatically cross-reference with the "National In-service Teacher Training Information Network" to issue training hours. |
| (2) | "Environmental Education Lifelong Learning Network": For those who meet the course passing standard (60 points), our university will assist in logging hours on the "Environmental Education Lifelong Learning Network." If you need to record training hours, please fill out the "Environmental Hours Training Hours Application Form" (online form URL: https://pse.is/2502OWT). |
