| 1. | In accordance with the official letter from the Secretariat of our government, dated March 5, 114 (Republic of China calendar), document number 1140001581. |
| 2. | Our city officially joined Sister Cities International on March 26, 109 (Republic of China calendar). SCI is the largest and oldest citizen diplomacy organization globally, dedicated to promoting world peace through economic cooperation programs, scholarships, and exchanges in arts, culture, youth, and sports to strengthen relationships among its members. This is for your reference. |
| 3. | The aforementioned competition encourages global youth to showcase the mission and objectives of Sister Cities International through artistic creation in an annual contest. The event details are as follows: |
| (1) | Theme: Friendship - The Pulse of Global Peace. |
| (2) | Submission Deadline: April 1, 114 (Republic of China calendar). |
| (3) | Eligibility: Two age groups, 12-14 years old and 15-18 years old. |
| (4) | Award Categories: Classical Art, Digital Art, Photography, Music, Literature, and Poetry. |
| (5) | Each student may submit only one entry per competition. However, each member city may submit a maximum of 5 entries per age group and per category. |
| (6) | Prize Money: First Prize USD $1,000, Second Prize USD $500, and Third Prize USD $250. |
| (7) | Note: Winners are responsible for the cost of shipping a framed version of their original artwork to the Sister Cities International National Office in Washington D.C., USA, for exhibition. |
