| 1. | Since 2017, our museum has collaborated with science popularization institutions in Singapore, including the Science Center Singapore, National University of Singapore (NUS), and ArtScience Museum, to organize overseas science camp activities. Based on the core competencies of "autonomy, interaction, and co-creation" in the 108 curriculum, and aiming for "autonomous action," "communication and interaction," and "social participation," we have jointly developed overseas science camp activities suitable for parent-child learning, combining education with entertainment and broadening horizons. These are detailed as follows: |
| (1) | In terms of "autonomous action": The world's first air taxi (VOLOCOPTER) successfully flew over Marina Bay in Singapore in 2017. Our museum will lead participants to Marina Bay to experience "The Future World" at the ArtScience Museum, personally experiencing the metaphysical realm of scientist Albert Einstein's famous quote, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." |
| (2) | In terms of "communication and interaction": Hands-on experiments at the Demo Lab, NUS, ranked first in Asia, and close-up experiences of novel technological applications and scientific studies at the Science Center Singapore. The orderly streetscapes integrate technological information, artistic cultivation, and aesthetics into the travel activities. |
| (3) | In terms of "social participation": Through our museum's promoted science education concept of "Prediction - Observation/Operation - Explanation - Comparison - Contest - Creativity (POEC-2C)," participants will engage in collaborative learning, sharing, and discussion within small groups, stimulating parents, children, and peers to go beyond what they have learned and experienced. They will also personally observe how Singapore's diverse Malay, Indian, and Chinese cultures and civic virtues are integrated into daily life. |
