Student Water Safety Promotion and Precautions for Water Activities

| I. | According to the Ministry of Education's campus safety and disaster prevention notification, student drowning deaths are prone to occur during student holidays in places without life-saving equipment and personnel. Therefore, we request your school to strengthen publicity before the holidays regarding participation in activities such as camping, water play, stream wading, or water recreation (including swimming, surfing, diving, kayaking, etc.). It is imperative to implement water and recreation safety precautions, carefully select legal water venues, and prevent drowning accidents. |
| II. | For water safety digital learning materials such as in-water self-rescue teaching videos and e-learning for different learning stages, please refer to the Ministry of Education's "Ad Hoc Network" (https://adl.edu.tw/HomePage/news-detail/?Id=64). |
| III. | This year, the "Ten Drowning Prevention Tips" promotional comic strip has been uploaded to the water safety special zone on the homepage of this bureau (Website: https://www.tyc.edu.tw/). One comic will be released weekly starting from March 25th. Teachers and parents are welcome to utilize these resources to deepen public water safety knowledge and jointly safeguard students' lives. |
