2026 AI & STEAM and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Summer Camp

I.Our organization is an educational non-profit organization approved by the Ministry of the Interior. To encourage students from junior high to senior high school to engage with AI science applications and STEAM fields, understand the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and enhance their English oral expression skills and broaden their international horizons, we are holding this summer camp. This year marks the third iteration of the event, which has twice been featured on the Ministry of Education's International Education Information Network for elementary and secondary schools with its excellent videos and has been invited by the National Education Radio to have participants share their actual experiences.
II.The second information session for this summer camp concluded successfully in mid-March. The third online information session will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM. This session will cover the summer camp's plan, eligibility criteria, and registration process, and will include a live online Q&A. III.This summer camp is co-organized by our organization and San Francisco State University. Participants will form a group to travel to San Francisco, USA, for international exchange. They will engage in Project-based Learning (PBL) courses focused on AI science, STEAM, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and interact with local students. Upon completion of the summer camp activities, participants will receive a certificate of completion from San Francisco State University and a university recommendation letter.
IV.The summer camp itinerary includes visits to the Google and Apple Experience Centers in Silicon Valley, Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco. It also includes visits to famous San Francisco landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the home stadium of the San Francisco Giants (Major League Baseball), and Muir Woods National Monument.
V.San Francisco State University is part of the California State University system and is a top-tier renowned institution in the United States. It is located adjacent to Silicon Valley, the world's most famous technology hub. San Francisco State University has colleges such as the College of Science and Engineering, Lam Family College of Business, College of Professional and Global Education, and College of Health and Social Sciences, offering over 100 majors and programs across 7 colleges. It is particularly renowned nationwide for its programs in biological sciences and physical therapy.
VI.The 2026 summer camp dates are from Sunday, July 19, 2026, to Saturday, August 1, 2026. The program is suitable for students currently enrolled in junior high school (grades 9-12). The activity brochure is attached. We kindly request you to post this announcement and encourage eligible students from your school to participate. Registration is open from now until April 17, 2026.
