Description:

I. To assist school teachers in promoting astronomy education on campus, the museum is holding astronomy workshops for elementary and secondary school teachers during the summer vacation. The content includes astronomy professional courses, sharing of astronomy teaching materials, techniques for photographing the starry sky, solar and lunar eclipses, as well as actual stargazing at Yangmingshan at night.

II. A total of 2 sessions will be held, with 85 spots per session. The first session is from July 7th to July 9th, and the second session is from July 10th to July 12th. The fee is NT$1,200 per person, which includes lunch, dinner, and transportation to Yangmingshan for stargazing during the event. Accommodation and round-trip transportation costs are to be paid by the participating teachers themselves.

III. Registration is done online, followed by a computer-generated lottery. Registration opens at 9:00 AM on May 12th and closes at 9:00 AM on May 15th. The lottery will be held at 10:00 AM on May 15th, and the list of admitted participants will be announced at 4:00 PM.
