Description:
I. In accordance with the "Overall Promotion Plan for Improving the Professional Teaching and Curriculum Quality of Elementary and Junior High School Teachers in our city for the 107th academic year" and the Bureau's official letter No. Tao Jiao Xiao Zi No. 1070076024 dated September 19, 107.
II. This plan aims to train guiding partners for teacher professional development in our city and enrich the talent pool for professional feedback, in order to assist and guide schools in effectively promoting teacher professional development practices.
III. This plan is based on a 2.5-day principle, with each course topic planned for 3 hours. Newly trained guiding partners must complete all required courses. Returning guiding partners must complete the first item and choose at least 3 out of the remaining 5 items. The order of topics is as follows:
(I) Systems and policies for teacher professional development
(II) Planning and operation of professional learning communities for teachers
(III) Introduction to curriculum framework-oriented competency-based curriculum design
(IV) Planning and implementation of principal and teacher open classroom observations
(V) Creation and utilization of teaching portfolios
IV. The information for the aforementioned workshop is as follows:
(I) Participants: Elementary and junior high school teachers and principals in our city who hold advanced certificates as professional feedback personnel for the new and old practical programs in our city.
(II) Workshop time: From 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on July 8, 108 (Monday) to July 9, 108 (Tuesday), and from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM on July 10, 108 (Wednesday), totaling 2.5 days.
(III) Workshop location: Library on the second floor of the Ximen Building, Ximen Elementary School, our city.
(IV) Participants must first register an account on the "Taoyuan City Teacher Professional Development Workshop System" (http://s.tyc.edu.tw/cnetd) and edit their affiliated school before they can register. Teachers from each school are requested to register on the "Taoyuan City Teacher Professional Development Workshop System".
V. Important notes for the workshop:
(I) This workshop registration is online only; on-site registration will not be accepted.
(II) All workshop courses begin at 9:00 AM. Check-in starts at 8:30 AM. Please arrive on time to avoid disrupting the instructor's lecture. Arriving more than 15 minutes late, leaving more than 15 minutes early, or taking leave during the course will be considered an absence for that session. Make-up sessions are required to obtain a workshop certificate.
