(1) Purpose: This special exhibition is in response to the United Nations' declaration of 2019 as the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. By celebrating the 150th anniversary of the publication of the periodic table by Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869, it aims to highlight the impact of chemistry and chemical engineering on human life, medicine, technology, agriculture, energy, and other fields. It seeks to spark interest in chemistry, environmental issues, and sustainable development, thereby achieving the goals of science popularization and enhancing the scientific literacy of the public and students.

(2) Time: Saturday, June 1, 2019, to Monday, August 26, 2019.

(3) Location: Special Exhibition Room, 3rd Floor, National Taiwan Science Education Center.

(4) Notes: During the exhibition, two Saturday science experiment activities will be held each month. Visitors are welcome to attend, experience, and collect souvenirs.
