Description:
I. In accordance with the letter from the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") dated May 23, 108 (2019), Ref. No. 1080054384D, and the letter dated June 12, 108 (2019), Ref. No. 1080063008.
II. The details of this seminar are summarized as follows:
(I) Participants: Junior high school teachers in this city.
(II) Seminar Date: September 14, 108 (2019) (Saturday), from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
(III) Seminar Location: Pingxing Junior High School in this city (No. 300, Huan'nan Road, Pingzhen District, Taoyuan City).
(IV) Registration Method: Register online through the Professional Development Seminar System for Teachers in this city starting immediately until the day before each session. The organizing unit is Pingxing Junior High School. The list of admitted participants will be determined based on the participants and the order of registration, until full.
III. This case also includes a brief description of the selection for the Financial Literacy Education Action Plan:
(I) Participants: Junior high school teachers in this city (including substitute teachers and intern teachers) can collaborate as teaching teams (at least one of whom must be a formally qualified teacher).
(II) Registration Deadline: Register online through the official event website (https://forms.gle/WioEMuFpWaQZSsr47) from now until October 14, 108 (2019), and email the registration form to twnpos@gmail.com.
(III) Selection Deadline: After completing registration, submit the competition entries by mail or in person to the Financial Literacy Education Program Promotion Group (9F-4, No. 415, Section 4, Xinyi Road, Xinyi District, 11051 Taipei City) by November 4, 108 (2019). The postmark will be the basis for timeliness; late submissions will not be reviewed.
IV. Personnel participating in this case agree to be granted official (business) leave registration in principle, with the understanding that they will manage their own teaching arrangements and will not be compensated for substitute teacher fees. For teacher seminars, actual seminar hours will be awarded.
V. In accordance with the "Regulations on Performance Evaluation of Principals of Public Senior High Schools and Elementary and Junior High Schools," the "Regulations on Performance Evaluation of Public Senior High School and Elementary and Junior High School Teachers," and the "Guidelines for Awards and Punishments for Faculty and Staff of Municipal Schools and Kindergartens in Taoyuan City," teachers in teams that receive "Special Excellence" in the aforementioned action plan selection will each receive one commendation. Those receiving "Excellence" and "Merit" will each receive one certificate of award. After the event, schools should handle the awards and punishments for faculty and staff in accordance with relevant regulations. If the awards and punishments involve principals or personnel officers, they should be reported to the Personnel Office of this Bureau with a recommendation letter for awards and punishments (and WebHR). Awards and punishments for accounting personnel should be reported to the Accounting Office of this Bureau with a recommendation letter for awards and punishments. These will be discussed together at the performance evaluation meeting for accounting personnel convened by the General Accounting Office of the Provincial Government.
