Description:

1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao She (II) Zi Di 1080128843, dated September 3, 2019.

2. The training activity aims to promote and explain the mother tongue teaching materials for new immigrant families, encouraging full-time staff or volunteers from county/city new immigrant learning centers and family education centers, library story volunteers, elementary and secondary school story volunteers, new immigrant language teaching support personnel, and individuals interested in promoting new immigrant mother tongue activities to participate. This will enhance their knowledge and skills in designing mother tongue activities or courses for new immigrant families.

3. The details of the training activity are as follows:

(1) Participants and Qualifications: Full-time staff or volunteers from county/city new immigrant learning centers and family education centers, library story volunteers, elementary and secondary school story volunteers, new immigrant language teaching support personnel, and individuals interested in promoting new immigrant mother tongue.

(2) The training schedule and locations for each region are as follows:

1. Northern Region (see Attachment 1): September 20 (Friday) and September 21 (Saturday), 2019, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Chien Tan Overseas Youth Activity Center (No. 16, Section 4, Zhongshan North Road, Shilin District, Taipei City).

2. Central Region (see Attachment 2): September 27 (Friday) and September 28 (Saturday), 2019, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Taiwan Cultural and Creative Training Center, Taichung Innovation Hub (3F-3, No. 2, Section 2, Taiwan Boulevard, West District, Taichung City).

3. Southern Region (see Attachment 3): September 6 (Friday) and September 7 (Saturday), 2019, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Taiwan Cultural and Creative Training Center, Tainan Qingtian Hall (13F-2, No. 77, Section 2, Zhonghua East Road, East District, Tainan City).

(3) Registration Method: Registration is exclusively online. For registration information, please visit the website of the Department of Early Childhood Education, National Chiayi University (URL: http://www.ncyu.edu.tw/geche/) and follow the link to the registration portal.

(4) Please grant official (duty) leave to participants from their respective organizations.
