Description:

1. In accordance with the letter of the Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau dated October 31, 108 (2019), document number 1080096571.

2. Workshop Theme:

(1) First session: An overview of children's calligraphy art and teaching methods (including writing experience).

(2) Second session: The art of seal carving - Introduction to inscriptions and seals, practical application of rubbings.

(3) Third session: Calligraphy appreciation - Appreciation of calligraphy on plaques and couplets in Taoyuan's ancient temples.

(4) Fourth session: Practical application of stone rubbing and stone carving.

3. Workshop Date: February 7, 109 (2020) (Friday), from 8:30 AM to 4:10 PM. Participants who attend the entire session will receive 6 hours of workshop credit.

4. Participants: Teachers from elementary and junior high schools in the city, a total of 90 people (including staff).

5. Workshop Location: Huohuo Hall, Nanmen Elementary School, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City (No. 303, Fuxing Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City).

6. Registration Method: Please register through the Taoyuan City Teacher Professional Development Workshop System (undertaking school: Nanmen Elementary School). Limited to 90 participants.

7. This workshop provides lunch boxes. Participants are requested to complete registration through the workshop system before January 20, 109 (2020) and indicate their preference for meat or vegetarian meals for headcount purposes. In addition, to support environmental protection, participants are requested to bring their own reusable cups and chopsticks.

8. Items to Bring: Large-sized calligraphy brush, inkstone, and a cloth pad.
