Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration's letter No. 1090022537A dated March 30, 109.
2. To enable students in remote areas to share high-quality English teaching resources with urban students, the Administration has commissioned National Central University to handle the aforementioned matter. Key points are summarized as follows:
(1) Selection targets and numbers:
1. Selection categories: Includes full-time teachers for remote English courses (hereinafter referred to as full-time teachers), full-time substitute teachers for remote English courses (hereinafter referred to as full-time substitute teachers), current part-time teachers for remote English courses (hereinafter referred to as current part-time teachers), and non-current part-time teachers for remote English courses (hereinafter referred to as non-current part-time teachers), totaling 4 categories.
2. Number of selections: It is planned to select 4 full-time teachers, 4 full-time substitute teachers, 8 current part-time teachers, and 12 non-current part-time teachers, for a total of 28 people. However, the actual number will be adjusted according to the number of participating schools and classes in the 109 academic year.
(2) Job content: Teach students in participating schools the national curriculum English courses according to the scheduled timetable, and regularly prepare lessons with the on-site collaborative teachers from participating schools. In addition, full-time teachers and full-time substitute teachers must design lesson plans during non-teaching free periods and assist in developing English-themed courses.
(3) Work location: Digital Education Research Institute, Institute for Information Industry (except for current part-time teachers who teach in a suitable environment at their service school).
(4) Employment period:
1. Full-time teachers: From August 1, 109, to July 31, 110.
2. Full-time substitute teachers: From the actual start date of employment in 109 to July 31, 109.
3. Current part-time teachers and non-current part-time teachers: From August 20, 109, to June 30, 110.
(5) Examination schedule and method:
1. Registration period:
(1) First selection: From now until 5:00 PM on May 5, 109 (Tuesday).
(2) Second selection: From May 14, 109 (Thursday) to 5:00 PM on May 19, 109 (Tuesday).
2. Examination time:
(1) First selection: From 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on May 9, 109 (Saturday).
(2) Second selection: From 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on May 23, 109 (Saturday).
3. Examination location: Tentatively scheduled to be held at the Digital Education Research Institute, Institute for Information Industry. The examination location will be adjusted based on the number of applicants and will be announced on the website of the remote English teaching program (https://reurl.cc/ZOadKM, hereinafter referred to as the program website).
4. Examination method: Each candidate will have a 10-minute teaching demonstration and a 10-minute English oral interview.
5. Announcement of results:
(1) First selection: Announced on the program website before 12:00 PM on May 11, 109 (Monday).
(2) Second selection: Announced on the program website before 12:00 PM on May 25, 109 (Monday).
3. Considering that the current part-time teachers hired for this project provide additional remote English teaching to students in remote areas using their English expertise beyond their basic teaching hours, the aforementioned teachers are exempt from the restriction of not exceeding 9 periods of combined teaching and substitute teaching.
