Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's letter No. 1090050146 dated May 5, 109.
2. To enable elementary and junior high school teachers and parents to understand the free and high-quality comprehensive English online learning resources developed by the Department - the "Cool English Online Learning Platform" (www.coolenglish.edu.tw). Through the screen sharing function of Google Meet, an online video conference, this platform introduces the learning resources and features of Cool English. It provides teachers and parents with an understanding of the platform's diverse learning content, encouraging them to guide elementary and junior high school students in using the platform's resources for learning and strengthening students' comprehensive English learning outcomes. Therefore, National Taiwan Normal University has been commissioned to organize the aforementioned project.
3. The online briefing sessions for this project will be held in two sessions for parents and two sessions for teachers. The times for each session are as follows:
(1) Parent Sessions:
1. Session 1: May 16, 109 (Saturday), 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
2. Session 2: June 13, 109 (Saturday), 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
(2) Teacher Sessions:
1. Session 1: May 27, 109 (Wednesday), 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
2. Session 2: June 24, 109 (Wednesday), 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
4. No prior registration is required for this project. 5. Teachers who participate in the entire session will receive 1 hour of in-service training credit from the National Information Network for Teacher Professional Development upon completion of the Google Form at the end of the course.
