Description:
I. In accordance with the Bureau's letter of February 24, 109 (2020), No. 1090014179.
II. The competition information is as follows:
(I) Competition time: May 30, 109 (2020) (Saturday) (Competitors enter by session starting at 9:00 AM).
(II) Competition venue: National Taipei University of Technology Affiliated Taoyuan Agricultural and Industrial Senior High School.
(III) Competition plan: A total of 4 sessions, with 4 examination rooms per session, a maximum of 37 people per room. After the first session finishes and participants leave, the second session will begin, and so on, maintaining no more than 102 people on the same floor.
III. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the aforementioned event will be conducted in batches, with staggered entry into examination rooms (classrooms) for testing. The following precautions will be taken:
(I) Comprehensive disinfection will be carried out in advance, and each examination room will be equipped with a forehead thermometer and alcohol.
(II) Infrared thermal imagers will be set up at the main entrance of NTUT Taoyuan Agri-Industrial High School for temperature screening (forehead temperature greater than or equal to 37.5 degrees Celsius will be re-tested with an ear thermometer).
(III) Infrared thermal imagers will be set up again on the first floor of the examination building for temperature screening.
(IV) All windows and ventilation windows will be fully opened on the day of the event to ensure ventilation, and the distance between participants will be increased.
(V) Upon entering the examination room (classroom), participants will undergo forehead temperature checks and hand disinfection with alcohol. All personnel are required to wear masks.
(VI) After each session, keyboards, mice, and the environment will be disinfected with alcohol. During the midday period, chlorine dioxide machines will be used for comprehensive disinfection of the examination rooms.
(VII) The examination time is 1 hour and 10 minutes. Participants must leave the school immediately after completion.
(VIII) Parents are not allowed to enter the school to accompany participants for this competition. Each group of students is limited to one accompanying teacher.
IV. All participants (including teachers and students), accompanying teachers, and competition staff (hereinafter referred to as "competition personnel") who are under home isolation or quarantine as announced by the Centers for Disease Control, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and are prohibited from leaving their homes according to regulations, are not allowed to participate in this competition. This also applies to invigilators and accompanying teachers involved in examination-related work.
V. To respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure the health and safety of participants and invigilators, the latest information will be updated regularly on the official website (https://sites.google.com/view/tyccompetition).
VI. Attached is one copy of the "2020 First Taoyuan City English Elite Cup - Professional English Vocabulary and Dictation Competition COVID-19 Response Candidate Health Declaration Form." Please fill it out and submit it on the day of the competition.
