Description:
I. In accordance with the letter No. 1090057470C dated May 21, 2020, from the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department").
II. The main points of the aforementioned plan are summarized as follows:
(I) Eligibility: Currently employed teachers in public and private senior high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools (including in-service, intern, and substitute teachers), as well as students enrolled in teacher education programs or undergoing teacher internships, or those who have completed pre-service teacher education courses (including those who have graduated and completed pre-service teacher education courses).
(II) Selection Theme: The theme is "Filial Piety Education or Concepts Related to Filial Piety" (e.g., filial piety towards parents and elders, kindness between parents and children, self-discipline, care and good deeds, appreciation and gratitude), aligning with the core concepts and spirit of the 12-year basic education, and integrated with various subject areas for design.
(III) Activity Period: From now until September 18, 2020 (Friday).
(IV) Submission and Evaluation: The evaluation will be conducted in two stages. First, experts and scholars will be invited to conduct an initial review based on the plan's evaluation criteria. Then, a final review meeting will be held. The submissions will be divided into elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school groups, and outstanding, excellent, honorable mention, and selected works will be chosen.
(V) The award-winning works will be announced on the Department's Filial Piety Education Resource Center website. Depending on the easing of the epidemic, a physical award ceremony may be held, and the date will be announced separately.
