National Taiwan Ocean University National Tour Exhibition and Symposium

Subject: To inform you about the "Second National Touring Exhibition and Symposium of Award-Winning Works from the Ocean Poetry Creation Competition" organized by the Taiwan Ocean Education Center of National Taiwan Ocean University, commissioned by the Ministry of Education. We kindly request your school to encourage its teachers to actively register and participate in the symposium. Please be informed.
Details:  
1. In accordance with the official letter from National Taiwan Ocean University, dated March 23, 110 (2021), with reference number Ocean Education Letter No. 1100005429.
2. The aforementioned competition focuses on the learning theme of "Ocean Culture" within the 12-year basic education curriculum guidelines for ocean education. A total of 23 award-winning works were selected from the elementary school group, 18 from the junior high school group, 18 from the senior high school group, and 8 from the university group. 3. To enhance public understanding of the diverse marine cultural characteristics across Taiwan and to allow more teachers, students, and the public to appreciate excellent ocean-themed poetry creations, educational outreach will be conducted in various regions nationwide through a segmented approach. This initiative aims to benefit those who wish to promote ocean education through literary and artistic channels, as well as those who simply enjoy the pleasure of reading, thereby implementing policies to improve national ocean literacy and gradually achieve the ideal of making ocean life a part of everyday life. In addition to the national touring exhibition, two "Ocean Poetry Creation Sharing Symposiums" will be held. Award-winning teachers and students will be invited to analyze their poems and share their experiences in guiding and mentoring students in their creative processes.
