110th Year Junior and Senior High School Teacher Professional Learning Community Convenor (Lecturer) Training Course Study Plan

Subject: Regarding the Ministry of Education's "2021 Training Program for Leaders (Lecturers) of Primary and Secondary School Teacher Professional Learning Communities," please be informed.
Explanation:  
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter dated March 24, 2021, Ref. No. Tai-Shih-Tzu (3) No. 1100040805.
2. To assist in the planning and promotion of curriculum and instruction for the 12-year basic education system and to enhance the operation and effectiveness of professional learning communities for primary and secondary school teachers, the Ministry of Education has commissioned the University of Taipei to organize the aforementioned program.
3. The 2021 training for leaders of professional learning communities will be conducted in a phased approach. The introductory course aims to cultivate leadership, dialogue models, and communication skills for community leaders. The advanced course focuses on developing the competencies and momentum for community leaders to guide community transformation. The high-level course aims to cultivate the competencies and momentum for community leaders to lead the sustainable development of communities.
4. The key points of the aforementioned training program are as follows (see Attachment 1):
(1) The training courses will be held from May to August 2021, with community leader lecturer training courses organized in the northern, central, southern, and eastern regions.
(2) Teachers recommended for training must possess at least one of the following qualifications:
1. Have served as a leader of a professional learning community for teachers and possess lecturer qualifications as a primary-level or above professional feedback talent.
2. Have served as a member of the National Education Guidance Group, a local guidance group teacher, or an outstanding teacher (super teacher, legacy teacher) in any county or city.
3. Teachers who have received the National Outstanding Teacher Award, Teaching Excellence Award, or awards from county/city governments or national teaching awards.
4. Teachers or principals who have served as leaders of professional learning communities or participated in communities, and have been recommended by the education bureaus (departments) of county/city governments.
(3) Recommended participants for the phased courses are as follows:
1. Introductory Course: Suitable for participants attending the community leader training course for the first time.
2. Advanced Course: Suitable for participants who have previously completed the introductory course for community leader training.
3. High-level Course: Suitable for participants who have previously completed the advanced course for community leader training.
(4) Training methods: Lecture, practical application, practice, material design, trial lectures, sharing, opinion exchange, and feedback.
5. Registration period and method: Registration is open from now until April 12, 2021 (Monday). Teachers who wish to register for the course should fill out the form and return it to the email address of the person in charge of the elementary education section at vickylee@ms.tyc.edu.tw, and also fill in personal information on the Google Form (URL: https://sites.google.com/view/teso3).
