2021 (110th year) Urban-Rural Student STEAM Maker Co-creation Competition

Subject: Forwarding the "110th Urban and Rural Student STEAM Co-creation Competition" organized by National Taiwan Normal University, details as described, please participate actively, thank you for your attention.
Description:  
1. In accordance with the official letter from National Taiwan Normal University dated March 18, 110 (2021), No. 1101006887.
2. This competition is in its 3rd year, continuing from the 108th National Urban and Rural STEAM Stars Competition. It is based on the "Ministry of Education's Urban and Rural Education Innovation Development Program" to assist elementary and junior high schools in urban and rural areas in developing curriculum and teaching plans. The goal is to bring the spirit of hands-on "STEAM" - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics education into urban and rural schools. By establishing "STEAM" projects and offering "STEAM" general technology courses, we aim to help urban, rural, or resource-disadvantaged schools build a foundation for hands-on education, enhance the learning capacity of schools, teachers, and students, and cultivate scientific literacy and innovation in our country.
3. Participants:
(1) Team Formation: Each team shall be composed of students from mixed schools.
(2) Number of Participants: Elementary school teams shall consist of 5-8 students, and junior high school teams shall consist of 3-6 students.
(3) Supervising Teachers: Each team must have a school teacher as a supervising teacher to guide the team in participating in the competition. Each team requires at least 2 supervising teachers, with at least 1 teacher from a rural school.
(4) Mixed Co-creation Team Formation Explanation:
1. Urban students as team members, not exceeding 1/2 of the total team members.
2. Rural schools mixed with urban schools.
3. Rural schools mixed with special schools.
4. Urban schools mixed with special schools.
4. Competition Time and Location: July 17, 110 (Saturday); venue is being coordinated and will be announced on the official website (http://isteam.ccda.org.tw/Client/Home) once confirmed.
5. The competition will subsidize the transportation costs for participating schools in remote areas. Detailed subsidy methods, lists, and amounts will be announced on the official website.
6. Notes: Students from each school should wear their school uniform to the competition.
7. Schools interested in participating should send the electronic version of the registration form to 10049024@ms.tyc.edu.tw before May 4, 110 (Tuesday). If there are many participating schools, recommendations will be made based on the order of receipt.
