| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") letter dated April 7, 2021, No. 1100029052. |
| 2. | To implement "Rooting Outdoor Education in the Curriculum, Letting Learning Enter the Real World," by selecting and evaluating quality curriculum modules and innovative teaching cases, to stimulate teachers' teaching innovation and encourage their involvement in outdoor education teaching, the Department has commissioned National Taiwan Ocean University to organize the aforementioned selection. |
| 3. | The details of the aforementioned project are summarized as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: Current teachers (including substitute and temporary teachers) in public and private junior high schools and elementary schools. |
| (2) | Categories: Divided into two categories: Quality Curriculum Modules and Innovative Teaching Cases. |
| (3) | Groups: Each category includes the following two groups: Junior High School Group and Elementary School Group (each group's courses and teaching activities are implemented for students of that educational stage). |
| (4) | Restrictions: Each team shall consist of no more than 5 members; teams may participate across schools, but may not register for multiple groups or categories; each submission can only be submitted to one group and category, and each person (team) is limited to one submission. |
| (5) | Timeline: From now until July 15, 2021 (postmark date applies). |
| (6) | Theme: The main theme is "Integrating Outdoor Education into Subject Teaching," with no domain restrictions. A 3-minute video is required to present the learning process and outcomes. |
| (7) | Submission Method: Before the deadline, please complete the online registration and mail the submission materials (including one application form, five copies of the design format, and one CD of the electronic file) through the dedicated selection page on the website of the National Taiwan Ocean University Taiwan Ocean Education Center. | 4. | Awards: |
| (1) | Quality Curriculum Modules: For each group, 3 to 5 "Special Excellence" awards, 5 to 10 "Excellence" awards, and 10 to 15 "Honorable Mention" awards will be selected. |
| (2) | Innovative Teaching Case Group: For each group, 3 to 5 "Special Excellence" awards, 5 to 10 "Excellence" awards, and 10 to 15 "Honorable Mention" awards will be selected. |
| 5. | Awards Method: |
| (1) | Quality Curriculum Modules: Special Excellence: Certificate of Award and NT$25,000 manuscript fee; Excellence: Certificate of Award and NT$15,000 manuscript fee; Honorable Mention: Certificate of Award. |
| (2) | Innovative Teaching Case Group: Special Excellence: Certificate of Award and NT$15,000 manuscript fee; Excellence: Certificate of Award and NT$10,000 manuscript fee; Honorable Mention: Certificate of Award. |
