National Taiwan Normal University's 110th "Cool English Speaking Master" Competition Regulations

| Subject: | To inform you about the 110th "Cool English Speaking Ace" competition rules, commissioned by the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to National Taiwan Normal University. Details are as follows, please be informed. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | Based on the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's letter dated October 14, 110 (Tai Jiao Guo Shu Guo Zi No. 1100131087A). |
| II. | Activity Objective: To enhance the English speaking ability of elementary and junior high school students nationwide, the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to build the "Cool English Online Learning Platform" (Cool English). A "Speaking Zone" has been added with resources for 100 common English sentences for elementary and junior high schools to help students strengthen their speaking foundation. The competition questions are from the "100 Common English Sentences" in the zone. Please encourage your school to promote students to use the speaking zone materials on this website to improve their English speaking skills. |
| III. | The competition rules are as follows: |
| Participants: All public and private elementary school students in grades 3-6 (Elementary Group) and junior high school students in grades 7-9 (Junior High Group) nationwide. |
| (I) | Activity Period: |
| 1. | From November 8, 110, to December 7, 110. |
| 2. | A dual system of registration and answering will be used (no order of priority, but registration and answering must be completed before the end of the activity. The end of the activity will be based on the last answering time displayed on the platform website). |
| (II) | Competition Rules: |
| 1. | Online registration is required, and participation is on an individual basis. |
| 2. | Registration Method: |
| (1) | Log in to the Cool English platform at http://www.coolenglish.edu.tw/ to register, or log in using a Facebook account, Google account, or Education Cloud account. County/city accounts can also be used. |
| (2) | After logging into the website, please enter according to your group and fill in the registration information as instructed on the screen. (For detailed graphic operation steps, please refer to the Cool English Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/coolenglish.tw/) |
| (3) | The registration deadline is December 7, 110, based on the time the form is submitted. Late submissions will be deemed as forfeiture and will not be accepted. |
| 3. | Participants must complete the designated practice question sets. To maintain fairness, please do not compete in multiple groups, nor use multiple accounts to participate. |
