| Subject: | To inform you that the Ministry of Education's National Academy for Educational Research has commissioned National Kaohsiung Normal University to organize the "2021 Winter National In-service Training Program for Junior and Senior High School Cross-border Transfer Students' Basic Administrative Knowledge and Teacher Training Program." Please acknowledge receipt. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's National Academy for Educational Research (hereinafter referred to as the "National Academy for Educational Research") letter dated November 26, 2021, No. 1100160026. |
| II. | The National Academy for Educational Research, in order to assist school administrative personnel and teachers in effectively placing cross-border transfer students of various nationalities, cultural backgrounds, past educational experiences, and current learning needs into appropriate grade levels, and to provide professional Mandarin Chinese learning plans through blended learning, customized assessments, counseling, family support, and individual learning experiences, thereby establishing a long-term and stable teaching and administrative support system, has organized the aforementioned training program. |
| III. | The details of the aforementioned training are as follows: |
| (1) | Time: |
| 1. | January 24 to 25, 2021, for a total of 2 days. A total of 150 spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. |
| 2. | Participants who attend the entire session will receive 14 hours of training credit. |
| (2) | Training Method: |
| 1. | Online video conferencing. |
| 2. | URL: https://meet.google.com/kjy-mbrp-uhf (or enter meeting code kjy-mbrp-uhf) (The network link will be available for registered participants to join on the day of the training). |
| (3) | Target Audience: |
| 1. | Administrative staff or teachers in junior and senior high schools. |
| 2. | Substitute teachers with valid teaching certificates. |
| 3. | Mandarin Chinese teachers with a "Ministry of Education Certificate of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language" or those who have participated in Mandarin Chinese teacher training and have teaching experience. |
| (4) | Registration Period and Method: |
| 1. | Registration Period: From December 10, 2021, to January 16, 2022. |
| 2. | Teachers and educational administrators should register directly on the National In-service Teacher Education Network, with training code 3281263 (URL: https://www3.inservice.edu.tw/). |
| 3. | Individuals who are not teachers should fill out the registration information via Google Forms: https://forms.gle/wmY998wH7M51BcmaA. |
| (5) | Registration Notes: |
| 1. | Participants must read relevant information on the "Cross-border Transfer Student Education Network (https://tkids.nknu.edu.tw/)" before the training (training-related content will be available for participants to view from January 17, 2022). |
| 2. | The aforementioned program reserves the right to review the eligibility of applicants. The list of admitted participants will be announced on the "Cross-border Transfer Student Education Network" after the registration deadline. |
| 3. | The training course will be conducted online via Google Meet. Please provide your Gmail address and Google account name for notification of admission and course access. |
| IV. | The bureau agrees to grant official leave for school personnel to attend the training course, with the school's approval. |
