Post-baccalaureate Credit Program in Indigenous Languages of the Mother Tongue Education Field

Subject: Forwarding the enrollment information for National Dong Hwa University's 2021 "Bachelor's Degree Program for Elementary and Secondary School Teachers in Indigenous Languages of the Language Domain" for your reference.
Explanation:  
I. In accordance with the official letter from National Dong Hwa University dated December 6, 2021, with reference number DSHPEIC-1100023730.
II. The enrollment information for the aforementioned program is summarized below (details are in the attached enrollment brochure):
(1) Target Audience (Eligibility): Applicants must meet all three of the following criteria (application documents will not be returned if eligibility is not met):
1. Graduates with a bachelor's degree or higher from public or accredited private independent colleges or universities, or from overseas independent colleges or universities recognized by the Ministry of Education, with a degree from any department or college.
2. Possess a certificate of proficiency in Indigenous languages at the intermediate-high level or above, issued by the Council of Indigenous Peoples (possess any of the following certificates):
(1) Certificate of passing the Indigenous languages proficiency test issued by the Council of Indigenous Peoples before December 31, 2013.
(2) Certificate of passing the Indigenous languages proficiency test at the intermediate-high level or above, issued by the Council of Indigenous Peoples on or after January 1, 2014.
3. Meet one of the following qualifications:
(1) According to Article 32 of the Indigenous Education Act, currently employed Indigenous language teachers, Indigenous language teaching support staff, or substitute teachers who have actually taught Indigenous languages for at least 4 semesters in Indigenous key schools or remote area schools.
(2) Currently employed local language (Indigenous language) teaching support staff or substitute teachers who have actually taught local languages (Indigenous languages) for a cumulative total of at least 6 semesters in elementary and secondary schools within the last 5 years (calculated from the application deadline).
(2) Application Method (Both mail-in and online applications must be completed to finalize the application):
1. Mail-in Application: From December 24, 2021 (Friday) to January 7, 2022 (Friday) (postmark date applies, late submissions will not be accepted). Please send documents via registered mail to: Indigenous Language Education Group, Center for Teacher Education, National Dong Hwa University, No. 1, Section 2, University Road, Shoufeng Township, Hualien County 974301.
2. Online Application: The application URL for the elementary school program is: https://forms.gle/Mytut1tapk4EfZnw6, and the URL for the secondary school program is: https://forms.gle/wgqxKdneFswDrM4X7.
(3) Class Location: College of Education or College of Indigenous Studies, National Dong Hwa University (No. 1, Section 2, University Road, Shoufeng Township, Hualien County). If necessary due to increased epidemic alert levels, the teaching method will be adjusted, and online teaching measures will be implemented in accordance with the university's distance learning regulations.
(4) Students applying for both programs should carefully consider the possibility of schedule conflicts that may prevent them from completing their coursework and subsequent internships on time.
