| Details: |
| 1. | To enhance the understanding of educators in our country regarding Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to grasp the emerging international trend: ESD + SDG = ESDG. This concept and framework will be used to design school-based curricula, connect with international trends, leverage school characteristics, and integrate SDGs into school-based curricula, echoing global and local key sustainable development issues, thereby improving the sustainable development literacy of all teachers and students. The CTCI Education Foundation (CTCI EF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's Climate Change Education Program, is organizing the "ESDG Connecting to International Standards, Driving the Future - 2022 School-Based Curriculum Program for Sustainable Development Education Call for Proposals" for the first time. |
| 2. | The submitted proposals should be based on the ESD promoted by the UN to construct school-based curricula and integrate SDGs into curriculum design. Considering the interdisciplinary and multi-perspective nature of "sustainable development," the proposals should incorporate key global and local economic, social, and environmental issues as curriculum themes, combined with local characteristics. We welcome all schools to integrate their unique features and past experiences to develop school-based curriculum proposals that align with ESD and SDGs, and to participate in this event to win substantial prize money! |
