| II. | The aforementioned workshop aims to cultivate the ability of elementary and junior high school mathematics teachers in mathematics literacy-oriented teaching. Through the "Foundation in Mathematics into the Classroom" module and its integration with the mathematics curriculum, key concepts in mathematics will be developed into formative assessments and teacher intervention strategies that promote the literacy of these mathematical units, in order to help elementary and junior high school teachers effectively transition to the 12-year basic education curriculum. |
| III. | Information regarding this training is as follows: |
| (1) | Participants: Primarily formal, substitute, and temporary teachers of mathematics in junior high and elementary schools in each county and city. |
| (2) | Time: Saturday, May 14, 2022; Sunday, May 15, 2022; Saturday, May 28, 2022; and Sunday, May 29, 2022. |
| (3) | Location: To be conducted online. |
| (4) | Registration: Please register by 12:00 PM on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the following website: https://forms.gle/KeqPSLotbMuTU5wG9. Please follow the registration instructions and regulations. Late registrations will not be accepted. |
| (5) | Course Grouping: Courses are divided into groups for lower elementary grades, upper elementary grades, and junior high school. The maximum number of participants per online session is 40, and this may be adjusted based on registration numbers. |
| (6) | Teachers who fully participate in the online courses will receive a certificate for the unit courses attended from the "109 Literacy Foundation Package Collaborative Workshop - Online," and their training hours will be recorded on the National Teacher In-service Education Network. Additionally, those who qualify for the "109 Literacy Foundation Package Collaborative Workshop" certificate may apply for the "Foundation into the Classroom Teaching Practice" offered by the Center for Mathematics Education at National Taiwan Normal University in the future. |
