111 Academic Year Outdoor Education Curriculum Modules and Lesson Plan Selection Regulations

Subject: Regarding the "2022 Outdoor Education Curriculum Modules and Lesson Plan Selection Method" organized by the Department of National and Preschool Education, Ministry of Education, please have your teachers actively participate. Please be informed.
Explanation:  
I. In accordance with the letter from the Department of National and Preschool Education, Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the "National Education Department"), dated May 24, 2022, No. 1110061396.
II. In order to encourage junior and elementary school teachers to properly integrate local resources, develop high-quality school-based outdoor education curricula, and compile practical curriculum experiences for other schools to reference, the aforementioned selection is being organized.
III. The selection method for this case is summarized as follows:
(1) Main theme: The main theme is "Integrating Environmental Sustainability Concepts into Outdoor Education." There are no restrictions on the subject areas. Please provide teaching, curriculum design, and teaching practice and review for outdoor education combined with various subject areas. A 5-minute short video can be provided if necessary to present the learning process and outcomes.
(2) Time: From now until Friday, September 2, 2022.
(3) Participants: Qualified teachers (including substitute and temporary teachers) currently employed in public and private junior high schools (including junior high divisions of complete high schools) and elementary schools.
(4) Categories: High-quality curriculum modules and innovative teaching cases.
(5) Groups: Each category is divided into junior high and elementary school groups. The students of each educational stage are the target audience for the curriculum and teaching activities in each group.
(6) Awards: For each group (junior high and elementary school) and each category, 2 to 4 outstanding awards, 3 to 6 excellent awards, and 4 to 8 honorable mentions will be selected, and a certificate of commendation will be awarded, along with a manuscript fee (the National Education Department may increase or decrease the number of awards based on the quantity and quality of submitted works and the decision of the judges).
(7) Registration and Submission: Please submit one original hard copy and one CD by mail to: National Sun Yat-sen University, Department of Marine Science, Southern Regional Collaboration Center for Outdoor Education, No. 70, Lianhai Road, Gushan District, Kaohsiung City 80424.
