Academic Affairs Office Announcement

Inform the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts that the independent admissions and transfer examinations for vocational high school and below for the 111 academic year will be conducted via remote video due to the epidemic.

Description:  
I. In accordance with the letter from the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, dated June 16, 111 (2022), No. 1115002097.
II. Due to the pandemic, the examination will be conducted via video conference to reduce the risk and cost of travel for candidates. We encourage all candidates nationwide to feel at ease when applying. The recruitment information is as follows (see Attachment 1):
(1) The departments and target students are as follows:
1. Elementary School Division: Peking Opera Department, Folk Arts Department, recruiting students from 5th grade (inclusive) and above.
2. Junior High School Division: Peking Opera Department, Folk Arts Department, Performing Arts Music Department, Taiwanese Opera Department, Hakka Opera Department, recruiting students from the first year of junior high school (inclusive) and above.
3. Vocational High School Division: Peking Opera Department, Folk Arts Department, Performing Arts Music Department, Taiwanese Opera Department, Hakka Opera Department, only recruiting first-year vocational high school students.
(2) Application Period: From now until June 27, 111 (2022) (Monday).
(3) Application Method: Online submission or paper-based mail application, either one is acceptable.
(4) Examination Date: July 9, 111 (2022) (Saturday).
III. The National Taiwan College of Performing Arts is the premier institution in the nation for cultivating professional talent in traditional performing arts and modern theater arts (12-year integrated education). Students admitted to the vocational high school (inclusive) and below will receive public funding (including meal expenses, book fees, and uniform fees).
IV. Related Subsidies:
(1) Applicants with low-income status will have their application fees fully waived. Additionally, the China Taxation, Finance, and Education Foundation (see Attachment 2) will provide extra subsidies for application fees, transportation, accommodation, and meals. Upon registration and admission, subsidies for accommodation and living expenses will also be provided.
(2) Applicants with middle-low income status will receive a 50% discount on application fees.
