114th Academic Year, 2nd Semester "Taoyuan International City: Educational Technology Tour" Interdisciplinary Elective Course

Description:    
I.    In accordance with the 114th academic year's plan to enhance high school curriculum and teaching.
II.    To cultivate students as self-directed lifelong learners, this city combines resources from high schools, universities, and national museums to organize the "Taoyuan International City: Educational Technology Tour" interdisciplinary elective course plan. This plan offers dozens of diverse weekend inter-school elective courses, including "Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing," "Creative Transformer," "Little Superstar: Theater Stage Practice," and "Cross-Disciplinary Time ~ Kiln Rolling Taoyuan." The aim is to enrich students' learning experiences through inter-school cooperation and resource sharing.
III.    Please have your school post the updated poster (as attached) on campus bulletin boards and school websites, and upload the following information to the school's official website to facilitate student registration and enrollment:

IV.    Please actively promote and encourage students to register. Those who are admitted and successfully complete the chosen courses for a cumulative total of 18 hours or more will be publicly awarded a certificate of completion on a designated date, thereby enriching their learning portfolios.


"Enhancing Teaching Power in the 114th Academic Year - AI Interdisciplinary Practical Teaching Workshop" Teacher Training Camp
Description:    
I.    In accordance with the Taoyuan City 114th academic year quality improvement plan. The training location is National Tsing Hua University (No. 101, Section 2, Guangfu Road, Hsinchu City). The training date is May 29, 115 (Friday), from 12:00 to 16:00. Please refer to the attached implementation plan for details. Registration can be done from now until the "National Teacher In-service Training Information Network" (Training Code: 5545122).

To enhance the awareness of primary and secondary school teachers regarding digital literacy, the Ministry of Education has developed relevant digital learning courses.
Description:    
I.    In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1152700964 (Tai-Jiao-Zi-San) dated March 24, 115.
II.    To assist teachers in gaining a deeper understanding of students' online world, cultivating appropriate attitudes in the information society, understanding issues related to information technology and human society, developing correct information technology usage habits, adhering to relevant ethics, morals, and laws, and caring about various issues in the information society, the Ministry of Education has developed 3 digital learning courses totaling 3 hours. The course titles are as follows:
(I)    Regulation and Responsibility of Online Speech.
(II)    Ethical Issues in the Online World.
(III)    Privacy Protection on Social Platforms.
III.    The aforementioned digital learning courses will be available on the Ministry of Education's MOOCs platform (https://moocs.moe.edu.tw) starting April 16, 115. Teachers are encouraged to apply for an EduCloud account on the platform to enroll. Upon completion of the courses and passing the final exam, participants will receive 1 hour of training credit, which will be regularly transferred to the National Teacher In-service Training Information Network.


"Generative AI's Challenges to Digital Literacy" Digital Learning Enhancement Course Available on the Ministry of Education's MOOCs Platform
Description:    
I.    In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1152700932 (Tai-Jiao-Zi-San) dated March 20, 115, and the "Promotion Plan for Information Literacy and Ethics in Primary and Secondary Schools" for 113-114.
II.    The course content starts from the operational mechanisms of generative AI technology, guiding teachers to consider the role transformation of generative AI in education, work, and daily life. This will foster sensitivity to judging the authenticity of information, content creation ethics, and data security. The course will be available on the Ministry of Education's MOOCs platform (https://moocs.moe.edu.tw) starting Thursday, April 16, 115.
III.    Therefore, please inform your teachers to apply for an EduCloud account and password on the Ministry of Education's MOOCs platform to enroll. Upon completion of the course and passing the final exam, participants will receive 1 hour of cybersecurity training credit, which will be regularly transferred to the National Teacher In-service Training Information Network.
